Musk once said they're now x's but I haven't seen him actually using that. A lot of people didn't like the apostrophe (even though forming the plural of single letters is about the only time it is considered acceptable to use apostrophes for plurals unless you're Dutch). I think on the actual platform they're just 'posts' now. It still says 'tweet' in the report flow on mobile, lol.

They should've gone with Xpressions or Xcretions or Xhortations or something. Missed opportunity.

Rebranding to 'pivot' won't fix whatever they are trying to fix. I still remember when this all was facebook, comcast, twitter, whatever. The name wasn't the problem. Oh neat, it's called X now, I can finally use this platform and feel something because it better represents me and my values now.

Musk don't give a fuck about the site or the social media, he bought that shit cause he thought the technology was cool.

He didn't even want to buy it. He abandoned the deal but was sued into following through with it, at which point the writing was on the wall and he agreed to the purchase. He didn't want it, doesn't know what to do with it, and it's haemorrhaging money. The interest alone on the debt used to purchase it is $1.2bn/year, lol.

Might as well call it MySpace.

I do plural of characters with quotes assistance, so "x"s.

He changed his mind due to the overinflated price but he did originally want to buy it, and the reason for that bid was for the tech to incorporate into X (the future "everything app")

It was more the patents twitter has than AI datasets although I have no doubt he has sold the data to AI companies.

I've never Tweeted myself or even had an account but the total meltdown over SJW/CRT/DIE/whatever it's called this week censorship being buck broken has been amusing to watch.
