the risk is honestly irrelevant, imo. i guarantee you are already in violation of at least three laws no matter how straight and narrow you try and be, its just how government works.

I had a petey plant in college. It was pretty fun but I'm lucky I didn't get a record for all the dumb stuff I did. I wasn't trying for a life of crime, but I was an absolute moron. I quit when my last attempt was a male plant and I wasted all summer for it to do nothing.

If you want to grow it, go out to the countryside and grow it there. Just don't be stupid and take your phone with you when you go there. GPS logging etc.
Also grow each plant in a separate location.
