I have a new computer I just assemble
Do I use EXPO or XMP for the RAM in the BIOS I have an AMD CPU and AMD GPU do I’m leaning toward using EXPO since XMP is Intel but I don’t know much other than one is AMD’s ram setting and the other is Intel’s

No doubt. With how much nonsense goes on with mating a CPU to a motherboard, firmware, choosing correct ram speeds, deciding whether to save a few bucks and go with previous generation SSDs, RAM, CPUS... I used to say building PCs was fun but I don't enjoy the headaches.
I'd say they need to all get on the same page, but that's how you end up with Windows Copilot PCs or anything from Apple. I'm not implying they're bad from a hardware standpoint, but they're antithetical to the PC builder lifestyle.

Hard agree here. And with Nvidia taking over the planet I think I'm firmly in AMD camp with GPUs anyway - I'll stay in that ecosystem.

If you like realtime raytraced reflections, shadows, and global illumination and also like low resolutions and messy temporal upscaling with poor frame rates, Nvidia might be for you!
