What are your thoughts about modern shooters?

I honestly find them to be a rip off compared to the shooters of yesteryear. Remember when shooting games had stories with engaging storytelling? Doom, Quake, etc. What the fuck does Call of Duty bring to the table? Just nah nah nah nah nah nah I'm better than you bullshit disguised as patriotism.

Honestly, boomer shooters are where it's at and fortunately there are still developers out there working on producing new content.

How many of you are fag Call of Duty players?

I don't remember Doom (the '90s ones at least) having "engaging storytelling". All I know is it was something about space marines on mars and you were the last one alive or something??? No one cared about game stories back then.

I did play COD Vanguard and MW2 for some months with coworkers on a nightly basis. It was okay.

That was my first reaction to this post too, it didn't. Neither did Quake for that matter.
