Topic: I hate how I never learned how to ride a bike.

La Reina Catalina !j0siCathyI started this discussion 1 year ago #120,814

I know I have a car now and it's nice, but there are times when it felt like it would be nice to have a bike as an alternative means of transportation. Especially for the short term.

My father was suppose to teach me when I was younger, but he died before he could take the training wheels off.

Now if I attempt to ride a bike. I'm scared my balance is shit.

I really want to ride a bike. 😭

Yeah I pretty much figured it out on my own with training wheels that loosening upward enough that they rarely touched the ground after a while. Then my only complaint was getting someone to take the fuckin wheels off already

But I've had resentment that I don't know how swimming works

Not sure if trolling or not, but it's pretty simple to learn to ride a bicycle. Get a small bicycle and you won't need training wheels.

Yes she is. Catherine has the mind of a small child. She has learned some things like driving and she volunteers at a charity shop, but most of adult life is still beyond her.

I recommend also practicing basic juggling. It's a fucking nightmare of frustration for a few weeks at first, but later, you can catch balls without looking too hard, like a champ

@OP
How about asking your future bride at Taco Bell to teach you.
You do need someone to assist your balance for about 2-5 minutes MAX.

Many people ride them. It's especially common to see the Amish use them

Are there any Amish communities in California?
Exploring Amish Communities in California
No established Amish communities exist in California due to factors like distance from existing settlements, high land costs, and cultural mismatch. The short-lived attempt in Salinas (1913) failed due to environmental challenges, social isolation, and internal conflicts.May 30, 2024

A few families of Amish, perhaps. The US west coast is home to several Mennonite communities, which are comparable to the Amish
