At the current moment I'm afraid that trump dying (or dropping out but that would never happen) would be worse than not. Trump is so unlikeable and it seems like Harris is slowly amassing a lead over him. There is an excitement around Harris that just wasn't there with Biden, and if things continue as they are, I think she has a very real chance of winning. But if Trump is no longer the opponent and he's replaced with someone who is more charismatic and doesn't say the crazy GOP/MAGA shit out loud, I'd be more afraid of Harris's chances.
