Topic: Unexpected interaction

So I park near the airport to relax and watch the planes take off. I've done that many times over the years. Someone from a nearby business parks the company pickup right next to my car and asks what I'm doing.

"Watching the planes" I say.

"You should be parked at the end of the street, not here, this is company land"

I'm parked on the grass verge, between the fence and the road.

"Why isn't the fence at the side of the road, rather than over there?" I ask.

"It's rude to park outside someone's property, you wouldn't like it if I parked outside your home"

It's a grass field, with some tree stumps. No one lives there.

"Is this your (meaning company's) property?"

I ask him a number of times before he drives away.

This is the most unusual interaction I've had in years. I'm not sure what his plan was, I guess he didn't expect someone with a brain and understanding what a fence was.

There's no end to people that spend all day trying to tell others what to do even when they have nothing to gain from it, this doesn't seem unusual at all.
