Despite me seemingly getting angry about anything and fantasies of violence, when the hangover starts to chill, one thinks that not having a headache is like a drug of its own, worth more than weed.

Yes and then in addition, not feeling horrible is a good enough thing for a while

I don't think that is a "good thing about alcohol" but actually a "bad thing about alcohol", being that alcohol takes away that feeling (which is actually just being normal).

lol yes, and at least for brief moment being normal instead of escaping whatever I am escaping with weed and extremely rarely alcohol too, well that's just OK enough
