I don't dislike the guy but he's been propped up by the industry way more than expected. Even comedians and actors need to be consistent to stay relevant and get work. Out of the 100's of thousands of guys that were (or thought they were) funny in college this one is still out there and I can't wrap my head around it.

well after getting a homemade recording played by Dr. Demento, he managed to get really capable production and musicians, and that helped. I think the Michael Jackson parody and music video really rocketed him, as you could not escape Jackson's fucking Thriller album music for years
