not necessarily. modern blade prosthetics are very efficient at what they do, not to meantion a legless runner has less weight to drag around. during the recent olympics ive seen very funny discussions that the paralymics should be merged into the mainseries and objections to this on the grounds that running blades could be comparible to steroid usage.
