Definitly ascribed too much to policy and the president. The printing press didn't help, but the corporations are hiding behind 'the economy' and 'supply chain disruptions' to justify gouging. Another instance of corporations behaving badly and totally getting away with it.

The administration is taking credit for the economy themselves, and claiming they are responsible for economic growth and new jobs.
If they want to push the narrative that the President is the one responsible for the good parts, they need to accept the blame for the bad parts too.
Of course their stats showing the economy is doing good are misleading. The stock market is up, because the market goes up when there is inflation since stocks are priced in dollars- the price of everything, including stocks, rises with inflation.

That's the second time you threw in "world" even though OP never said that.
If you don't think the economy should be attributed to the president, then you should take it up with the Biden administration that has been telling people it does.
