I didn't see that one. Honestly I'd have handled it the same behind the counter - not a cheerleader for politicians and I'm trying to get away as fast as possible whenever I bump into a lizard at the fairgrounds or market or whatever. This one just got trapped because of work.
The worst I had was a local guy doing the rounds at campus. He cornered me on the main boardwalk while I was on a booze run and wouldn't let me go. I'm XXXXXX and I'm running for XXXXX office. I really feel the plight of what you students are going through here. Are there any issues you're concerned about as a citizen? As me anything!" Holy fuck my guy, just trying to get back to my dorm so I can hate myself alone - I have a project due tomorrow.
