The red cross through the "https://" does not mean "untrusted". If you click on it, it tells you that some parts of the page are not encrypted- it is only partially encrypted.

It's interesting how they still have elements of proportional representation, considering how it turned out badly before.
Mind you, they also use elements of first past the post so I guess it balances out the disadvantages of proportional representation.

I think that in a democracy, whatever party the people want to represent them in Parliament should be allowed to, and that we should not keep an unfair system in to prevent this.
I know that in the UK, the BNP would have gained a few seats with PR and anti-PR people were using this as a scare tactic. I think that that is undemocratic.

I think that they have a vlaid point with the BNP thing. My main critisism of PR is that it's more open to abuse the FPTP. Sure, FPTP isn't as purely democratic as PR, but it's hardly oppressive either.
Also, I like FPTP because parties have to work harder to get seats with it. Ergo, they have to geniunely win lots of people over rather than relying on their niche following.

I'm not going to argue that I want them to get into Parliament, but I think that if the people want their representatives to be the BNP, then they should be allowed to choose so, and using a system that essentially cheats them of their choice is unfair and undemocratic.
