I read that a feature of Aspire One is it is supposed to read the internal flash hdd and the add on hdd card as one single hard drive, but mine is not doing that. Any suggestions? Thanks.
It makes sense if you think about it. You can keep one in your pocket, one at work, one at home and one in your mom's house. Then if there's ever an accident, all the others are safe too.

It's called RAID usually, and there's many types. Another way to do it is to have multiple drives with identical information so you can read half from each at the same time to double read/write times.
