Topic: Drilling holes in car exhaust

I thought about changing my exhaust for a nicer sounding one and I found this on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLEk6nTC-70 - They just drilled holes in their muffler and it sounds much nicer. Is this a good idea? Can I just drill it without removing?

It's better to drill holes in the catalytic converter. You'll get better mileage and it'll sound faster!

i knew a guy who had blown a nickel sized hole in the exhaust RIGHT in front of the catalytic converter.

He got trucked pulled over for noise violations when he was at stoplights.
