No, you go to the hardware store, get some damp-rid, put it in an inflated plastic bag, and then put it in the oven on warm for about 30 minutes. The heat makes the water evaporate out and the dessicant absorbs all the moisture. I spilled a full glass of iced tea on my laptop, straight into the keyboard, and then did this. There was no permanent damage to it.

Haven't tested this method, but sounds right.
My favorite methods are sticking it in rice for 24 hours because I have a shit load of rice obviously. Another trick is immediately stick phone in distilled water then in rubbing alcohol and let it dry. The phone doesn't get fucked up from the water itself, but the shit in the water that creates a current between two contact points.

Yup. You can thank Steve Jobs. At least the battery is a good battery for the most part, but it's one thing that's [always] bothered me about the iPhone. Another thing being how easy it is to scratch up the backsides of the iPhones and iPods. Why haven't they thought of a solution for that yet?

Apple always gives one year free, but I'm not sure what it covers and doesn't cover. I know you can ask them to replace the battery if yours isn't holding a charge like it used to, so at least that's one plus side. Just send it in when your free one year is almost up.

I dunno. I love iPhones because they just have what I need. I'm such a simple person. All I really want is to call, text, browse some online sites, stream music, and have GPS. I don't buy apps from the app store, but I have bought five or so apps from Cydia. Quickreply for SMS, biteSMS, Music Controls Pro, and a couple others I don't remember. I wonder why Apple hasn't thought of adding a quick reply feature into iOS. Most people I talk to with iPhones use something that allows them to reply anywhere on the phone.

Well even if it worked, problem is the instructions say you can only use water to clean it or the screen won't work up. Even iso alcohol will damage the screen.

It's an amazing device. If android is better, it would blow my mind. The display is fucking amazing. It's pretty fast, and it has everything I need. The only negative is that they're ridiculously expensive. If my device is being made for essentiantly slave labor, it should he cheaper.
