My doctor said my cholesterol is too high and if I don't get it down soon any accidents won't be covered by insurance. I'm thinking of going vegan, anyone here do it and success? Or does even the go back to more after being vegan?

Since I prefer to get all my vitamins, minerals, amino acids, heme iron, and usable B12, I eat meat and vegetables both. you don't have to go vegan to lower your cholesterol. Cut back on saturated fat and cholesterol in your diet and get on a a statin if you have to. People accomplish this healthily all the time.

Similar experience but made it 5 or 6 weeks. I didn't bulk up on my beans intake and ended up with pretty bad brain fog and energy loss. It's not something to take lightly!
Now I just take an occasional vegetarian or vegan meal to 'do my part.' That's one less burger going through the supply chain.

I had major diarrhea on the third day and said fuck it. I felt pretty good besides that, but my stomach bothered me for 3 or 4 days after I started eating meat again. I hardly ever eat red meat. Mostly fish, chicken and turkey. I probably eat red meat once or twice a week at the most. I'm not saying my stomach issues was from the diet it could have been a bug, but I really missed my meat, especially my roasted chicken.
