The British opening ceremony back in 2012 was so dull that the only memorable thing was Mr. Bean. No country besides maybe the United States could potentially match that of China during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. But France might have just changed the game in how these ceremonies are done. Having the main spectacular show at the same time as the parade of athletes was great because that segment over the years got boring really fast.
