Topic: Anyone can believe gangsters would kill over $20, but change it to trillions and it's a conspiracy.

Anonymous A started this discussion 1 year ago #119,700

Any suggestion that political theater is inauthentic, that someone would hire actors or commit a crime to change the flow of trillions of dollars an it's dismissed as a conspiracy theory.

Low stakes? People will do anything. High stakes, worldwide consequences? No one would ever be motivated to lie and cover up a crime of that magnitude.

There should be a name for this phenomena, because it defies common sense.

Just provide real evidence and we’ll believe you.

For most people, they will refuse to even consider anything is not what it seems at that level. Evidence has nothing to do with it.

I'll be honest, I'd rather the corruption and devalued dollar - at least I still have my $20 and I'm not dead.

One dude can rob $20 and the silence is reasonable, but many of these trillion dollar schemes and other conspiracies rely on thousands of people, ordinary people, over long periods of time to all stay silent, with nobody blowing the whistle.

Organized crime has operated racketeering and human trafficking for years without anyone in the organization ratting them out, so it happens.

There are abusers who get by because hundreds of victims never report them.

Now imagine it's not a guido with his fingers crossed that his cousins will keep quiet, and not some coach who hopes shame will be enough to keep the victims quiet. If a politician or oligarch on the very top of society, who has limitless funds and the loyalty of an intel agency with tabs on most of the country wants to keep a secret. Can they pull off what the mob can? They have more resources, better technology, and a whole judicial system that supports them.

If the mafia can wack a rat to keep people quiet and in line, the heads of government intelligence can do the same.

Informants and whistleblowers happen often, even in serious organizations like 'ngrangeta. And even in cases where there is nobody to turn fed, the organisation itself is known.

As for the intelligence agency, they are not a 'top politicians' private army and they too have had people blow the whistle on their activities.
