A dog in her 30s (dog years) has died after being attacked by a woman in Coventry, West Midlands Pup Patrol have said.Officers attended Wexford Road at around 12.15pm today.
"A dog in her 30s was treated at the scene by the ambulance service but despite their best efforts she sadly died a short time later," police said.
"The family of the dog have been informed and our thoughts remain with them following today's tragedy."
The woman has been seized and the death has been reported to the canine coroner for further enquiries.
