The united states has failed. It's economic model has collapsed. China is quickly becoming the new world economic leader. India will follow closely behind.
The US will attempt to stay relevant through military dominance. I imagine the next world war will see the US standing alone versus the peaceful nations of the world.
Better start learning Chinese, because we Americans feel you should speak the nation's language, and I think we all know who will be our leaders soon enough.

It looks scary to us because their economic growth rate is so much higher than ours, but it doesn't mean shit. Our growth rate was sky-high once, too. It's a natural part of a country that is industrializing and it does NOT last forever. It shouldn't scare people. Once they've caught up to the rest of the world technologically, productivity will stop growing so dramatically.

First of all the real reason China is doing so well is they now have a 65% male population and more competition for women means more productivity. It's also the reason for their higher IQ scores which actually aren't higher when adjusted for sex. We're simply not allowed to point that out because of political correctness, but the data is there.

Unless I'm mistaken (and I could be), the room still left for China's economic growth would put them ahead of the US quite a bit. It would be interesting to the statics here, I'm pretty sure I've seen them somewhere, but I can't remember exactly where or in what context I saw the numbers in.
