This time it will work, right?

It might, because Trump's becoming more fascist and unhinged every time he speaks.

You said the US was already fascist, so what would change?

But in 2016 they swore that he was maximum fascist and crazy? He was a madman with a nuclear button, right?

He would make it more fascist and do stupid shit like eliminating the DOE.
@previous (A)
Correct. Now he is even worse because he knows his cult will support anything he does, and he learned from his last reign of terror.

What value does the department of education offer? The US has abysmal academic rankings. Giving local school districts more autonomy can't hurt much, but there's a lot of room to improve. Maybe Trump's appeal is that he's willing to change something, but the Democrats see poor performance as acceptable and only offer the status quo.

The Federal DoE doesn't do much of anything that the treasury department couldn't do. Each state already has its own DoE. The federal one was created as a gambit to end segregation in schools, but it didn't exactly work because rich white folk just pulled their kids from public schools and juiced up the private school industry. The can was kicked down the road.

Democrats are framing states rights like the GOP wants to ban schools.

Without the DOE, every state, every little small town would have its own unemployed alcoholics writing smut about their students, and a huge portion of it would just be Matthew Miller bullshit.

Yes! That is why he is so far ahead in the early polls. That's why the Democrats are grabbing for something to hold on to as they seem to think that many of their people are starting to see who Trump really is. Funny there are so many of those intelligent blues thats are turning red. Only the extremists like yourself still hold onto those ideas about Trump.

Maybe Gavin will step up at the last minute.
