Ask them about their position in the civil war and they make up a story about everyone switching to the opposite party randomly for no reason to try and deflect blame.A segregationist was bad enough, but calling for prisoners to be locked up longer to protect their labor supply is openly a pro-slavery position. Inmates should be removed from society because it keeps people safe, and because it provides a controlled environment to correct their behavior, not because private companies need a legal way to get labor for less than minimum wage.
Unfortunately there's every indication that she will be the nominee.
