My card awkwardly declined when buying bike, I checked my account and indeed I did not have enough so I divide the payment with cash. I checked my account again today, I've paid for the bike and I have not received any money. I can afford the bike again now if I want to buy it twice

When mine declines, it's usually because I'm down to the last $100-$200 and I've fueled up one or two of the cars or deposited a check at the ATM. Both will lock money until everything clears.

I get annoyed that utilities, banks, and services shut down on the weekend - pretty bunk when trying to pay bills and no money moves until Monday. I know it's all automated robots and not some mook sitting in a seat clicking 'ok' for every transaction on the planet... it shouldn't be a problem to let the robots keep running.
