If Trump wins and stacks the supreme court even further, and republicans hold onto enough seats to prevent democrats from holding a super majority, no they won't. Anything a democrat does will be challenged until it gets to supreme court, who will just hand wave it away.

I don't think so. But I think things will have to get really, REALLY bad for that to happen. Which it probably never will. They'll make sure we all have our 24/7 distraction machines in our pockets, with all the youtube and netflix and facebook and such we could ever desire in order to keep us just complacent enough to not want to risk throwing away all comforts to try to remedy the situation.
