well, by picks, I mean gives their preferred candidate a lot of money for running against someone they do not want, and very often it's all down the money to pay people to work for the promotion of the candidate, and for advertisements.

You are free to join the IDF, get Israeli citizenship, and benefit from the US aid too. Don't complain, no one is forcing you to stay in the US.
