Topic: I'm looking after my sister's dog.

It's sleeping now. For some reason I have extreme anxiety that it's going to die while I'm looking after it. It lets a breath out and during the beat before it breathes in again I lose my shit. How can I come to terms with the dog's mortality and the unlikelihood that it's just going to randomly die tonight?

Just shoot it in the head now to avoid it's demise which lies ahead.

How old is this thing? Dogs usually aren't that fragile. I've only had one kick off early that had doggy cancer or something.

It's not the puppy that is weak, it's the world that is strong, and cruel. Just establish patrolling schedule, try checking once every 5 min, then 10... Then 20, see what you are comfortable with.
