Today was a straight-up battle with the rain. Decked out in my heavy-duty waterproof gear - jacket, pants, and kicks - I rolled through the storm like it was nothing. My socks held up, keeping my feet bone dry. Riding hard on my bike, I took occasional hits from my discreet vaporizer to keep my head straight. Glancing at my watch, I knew it was time to wrap it up. Back indoors, I brewed a strong cup of joe with whatever kitchen gear was handy and topped off my nicotine for the vape. Might need to stock up on more threads soon, 'cause this weather ain't backing down. Lounging on my new saddle stool at the fresh desk, I reflect on the day's grind, knowing I owned the streets, rain be damned.
