Topic: I think a friend might be anti woman

Anonymous A started this discussion 1 year ago #118,910

So this bully had a girlfriend in work that left him for a Romanian guy, at work. Apparently to my friend, what a bitch thing to do. But idk it makes sense, he's self righteous and easily annoyed.

How much time and money did he spend on her before she did it?

It's a common story. A guy has to pay for his gf because otherwise he's single, and she uses him until she can trade up or find someone else to use.

Well alright if she was like that then I'd say the men are equally bitches because they are not innocent bystanders but partaking in the circle dance or whatever you call it

Of course they are partaking, all life is compelled by their instincts to find a mate.

What are men supposed to do? They are going to take the risk because the alternative is just giving up. Men who just give up don't pass down their genes or culture.

As long as women can defraud and use men without consequence, they will.

Natural selection and the desire to find a mate aren't going away. The only way to solve a problem like this is setting rules for courtship in society, where both have responsibilities not to hurt the other.

Well I agree but the same can be said about the girl. Of course we are going to chase our desires if they are right there taunting us.

Women don't have to provide for their boyfriends financially pre-wall so she doesn't need to worry about him taking advantage of her. If he stops providing, or she gets bored she can find someone else. If she has a kid the government will garnish his wages to pay for it.

But now we are taking a turn into another direction of what we were originally talking about, kind of like the narratives that poison all our lives.

Imagine that's your girl, your real girl that you raised and loved, not fucked. And some sleezy bastards in a warehouse call her a bitch for not loving a douchebag?

Why is he a douchebag?

If I had a child that was pretending to love someone just to take advantage of them financially, before dumping them, I'd understand why they said it. Obviously parents are biased towards their kids, and would side with them anyway, but that doesn't mean you can't look at it objectively and understand why it happened.

If you had a kid stealing from people while abusing them emotionally would you be OK with it?

I think he's a douchebag because I've experienced it first hand. I would prefer if my girl found partners her own age and it's a plus if they are nice enough to pay for things. Perhaps I'd warn her that some men think they are buying her.

Seriously now, we don't even know if that's the case, if this is how she is like.

If he's a douchebag, then yes, she should leave him asap.

We don't know what she's like, but that's usually how it goes. Every time a woman drops those requirements its because shes hit the wall and has been forced to.

Why should women date men their own age?

Well I suppose I wouldn't really know. Perhaps I'm really just surprised to see sympathy for him from my friend.

They shouldn't, I'd just prefer. Not that I think I would have a say in this highly hypothetical scenario.

Why would you prefer that?

For instance, it'd be awkward for everyone if she brought her senile boyfriend over for Christmas.

Would you prefer a 30 year old daughter bring home a sharp 40 year old man vs a dim witted 30 year old man?

Sounds fun for her, and even the old man gets what he wanted, but how would this affect the self-esteem of older women not involved in the relationship?
