Topic: Is the Book of Mormon literally just made up history?

Like I’m pretty sure we literally have no additional records to support the existence of any of these known groups in North America. Who the fuck were the Nephites, Lamanites, and Mulekites. Like at least there are records of Palestinian Jews in Roman times, but this just seems like they’re adding more Tribes of Israel to the story.

I mean, shit, the Quran is more of a historical record of events than the Book of Mormon. Like what the fuck?

I hate to see people fall for cult shit. I usually say it's sad they waste their whole lives burning calories and dollars on nonsense... maybe I'm wrong though. What if their lives are totally fulfilled, even if the premise is a scam?
> Yes. In fact, many Mormon Archaeologists have quit because they've realized that there is literally no evidence for anything in the Book of Mormon.
Joseph Smith saw the word through magical glasses that broke when he was done reading. He then returned the gold plates to Angel Moroni on Hill Cumorah. So nobody else examined them. But the Three and Eight Witnesses signed affidavits that this was all real.
Regardless of the fanciful toddler tall tales, my focus is more on Brigham Young. He was a brilliant leader and visionary, a badass through and through, and for a time the richest man in America. He negotiated to win against the federal government and was the de facto ruler of Utah Territory.
Mormonism largely dispensed with bigamy after a later church leader “had a dream” where God told him to cease just before an 1890 federal intervention. The white supremacist early doctrines also filtered out during the 1960s-1970s.
Whatever they believe they’re great to work with. Punctual, personal presentation is A+, discipline is high, along with work ethic.
The FLDS fucktard cult is used disparage other Mormons but it’s like tarnishing all Catholics with the Opus Dei weirdos, or saying all Jews are like the creepy Hasidim.
You think? Tons of the influencer moms are Mormon and the look like what you see in Utah and elsewhere: Some of the hottest women alive with 3-6 kids in tow.
