Mine never leave (I can drown them out somewhat with lots of work), I was wondering if many of the rest of you have these thoughts lingering with you much?
If you had cancer, and the choice to remove it, or let it fester and get worse, which would you think most logical?

Like yours, mine never leave.
I just try to ignore them, and sometimes they'll give me a break.

There were points in time when I had them, but only when really bad things were happening. In my day to day life I never have them.

It's weird. I want to kill myself, and I think i'll do it soon, but the thought of the sweet release of death makes me want to keep living. Also i've been really busy with my flat. When I had nothing to do hours seemed like days. The thought of living for around 20,000 days makes me depressed. Being suicidal makes me carefree and and happy. It's really paradoxical, I can not explain it.

Hmm. Any time I'm not doing anything. I don't deal with them, I try to figure out what they are and why they exist chemically and all that shit. Tends to numb things.

Quite often, with varying degrees of intensity. Even when I'm feeling decent, I get them. They just get more vivid the worse I'm feeling :/

When i was 16-22 i struggled with the thoughts, but then they went away. Not much changed, just work instead of school. Nothing happened to suddenly make me not think of suicide, it's like it was a period in my life i had to survive, and now it's no longer a struggle.
I don't want to die anymore.

I almost voted constantly, but then I realized it doesn't say 'homicidal thoughts'.
