The Supreme Court just determined that Americans no longer have the right to guarantee their foreign spouses citizenship. Perhaps white people should stick with nice white American girls instead of chasing that alien pussy.

How can we get rid of democrats and republicans? Why are we always stuck with two shitty parties and people like Bert who think they’re the Tennessee Vols?
It's not so much that they want to "suppress wages" as they want to "continue growth". Unlimited continuous economic growth is something that is not possible without also constantly increasing the population and labour force, which will increase the amount of money being spent in the country and stimulate further growth. Given the ongoing population collapse in rich nations, with many families having only one or two children, the solution is to increase immigration.
As for "they do it for the votes", I can fully believe that it's an extra added bonus for certain political parties. But in reality, they do it as a quick fix for continuous economic growth, which is something that will eventually stop and collapse but which nobody wants to be holding that hot potato when it happens.
