If slavery was still legal in the United States in former slave states... could you see yourself owning one? What if slavery became legal in free states? Meaning in all fifty states. What if slavery was expanded from not just slaves taken from African, but Hispanic slaves taken from Mexico, Central America, and South America? What if poor white people later joined the ranks of slaves?
Would you, in 2024 CE, see yourself purchasing, keeping, and owning a slave?
