I read it. Sounds a lot like what they said before vista development...

Really, it looks like they are trying to ruin everything I love about windows. I like the part where the guy says, "but if you want to use it for "PC" stuff, we'll have an app for that!" it made me laugh and cry at the same time.

In the future computers will be only for idiots and people too incompetant to use them for anything but angry birds and shopping apps.

I'm crossing my fingers that Linux will eventually into games.

I'm just so glad I finally bit the bullet and switched over to Linux. MS has lost its best programmers and they've totally bought into this "desktop is dead" paranoia. I understand the cloud has huge advantages, but don't trains have huge advantages over cars?

People won't give up desktops for the very same reasons they won't give up cars. Shame MS is too stupid to see that.

They need to replace the tiles with the DOS command line and start over again. The touch tile thing is fine on phones and 10" tablets, but it will be shit on a 27" PC monitor. I know there's a Windows 7 style "classic" desktop, but still.
