Instead of spending a lot of money on one digital watch with solar power that claims to be rugged and hardy (but which will eventually wear and break in a manual job), it's better to take that money and go onto Temu, and buy many cheap wind-up watches for a dollar each, and replace them if they become damaged. Each individual watch will break faster than the expensive watch, but for the same price the cheap watch will last much longer. Additionally, they look like super expensive designer watches and people will think they're cool.

I know, it's shocking and modern. It may not be for everyone. But I am convinced, that once you buy 50 identical cheap mechanical watches for a dollar each and replace them when they become worn, you'll never spend $50 on a single watch again.
