And Weird Al was a clever guy - to make parody a career had to happen right in that window of time. Now every idiot with a cellphone thinks their snark is the wittiest thing to hit the algorithm. Doesn't mean jokes aren't funny anymore, but it does mean the millions of amateur comedians can't all be funny at the same time.
