It does seem like they are pushing the 'humanoid' thing again. It'd be so much more efficient to make drones (or robotic carts in the case of that waiter GIF) if the AI needs to be mobile. I guess it's about selling it though. @previous (A)

And the new SIRI/Alexa/whatever 2.0 thing will work for some people, there is a use case there at least. I still think a date on the weekends with real people is probably healthier than talking to robots - I am worried about mental health long term from this.
