You gotta make all the shit fit nice so that it doesn't take too much space. My strategy in Tetris is to not even care about what comes next, but rather focus on the structure itself and have it in shape to be mostly ready for everything that comes crashing down.

You're meant to fill everywhere except the last column so you can make tetrises when you get the 4 square line
