All war is evil, but it was to stop the Nazis and Hitler. It really was "for freedom". All the US "wars" since have been invasions of sovereign nations, or bullshit.

No, that is the state propaganda that was given to you in order to convince you to sign up for the armed forces.

Nobody goes to war for any reason except that it will result in a benefit. In the USA's case, they were motivated to counter Soviet influence in Europe - everyone could see that the Red Army was going to defeat Germany.

Yeah it was hard but after 1945 we freed Czechoslovakia, Poland, Romania, Hungary, etc and they were able to enjoy freedom and democracy under the new Soviet occupa... wait a minute 🤔🤔🤔

WWII was pointless and achieved nothing of value. We should have stayed out and let the Yurops fight amongst themselves.

Also I fail to see how Hitler was worse than Stalin, Mao, or any 20th century dictator.
