I still say the upper-middle class is too comfortable to change anything, and everyone else thinks they're one promotion away from joining the middle or upper middle class (and would happily boss around peons for the paycheck, I see it firsthand at work). Not good enough. Everyone would have to give more for a better future and I don't see that happening (even the Bernie types, they'll cut checks for the poor but they never volunteer to work harder or give up anything themselves for the greater good).
