When a tyrannical government shuts down your church and school, grinds the economy to a halt (who needs to eat?), and then encourages rioters... you're going to have social instability that knocks out people who were already living on the edge.
Untested vaccines played their role, but we shouldn't ignore the stress their policies put on the most vulnerable.

Maybe I don't know about virology but I can do primary school arithmetic:
1. 1.2 million deaths is 1% of cases.
2. That means 99% of people who caught covid recovered.
3. The population of the US is 333 million.
4. 1.2 / 333 = 0.36%
While tragic, this is hardly remarkable. It is also highly likely that the figures would have been exactly the same whether or not people had worn masks, given the massive recovery rate.
You don't need to be an expert to deduce stuff like this. You just need a few more brain cells than @OP.

if anything, the beerflu death rate is well within the acceptable margin of error. witch is somewhat hilarious- people are killing and or crippling themselves for political grandstanding.
