I'm not going to lie. Considering that we've now had the first female Doctor (protagonist) and now we have the first black (potentially gay) Doctor. Not to exclude that the BBC now has access to that Disney money. I only wonder if the sixteenth or seventeenth incarnation(s) of The Doctor will be the first truly alien-looking Doctor.

The actor currently portraying him is and it was hinted during David Tennant's second run as The Fourteenth Doctor that he might have a preference for men. This isn't confirmed yet, of course, but not out of the realm of possiblity.
Though honestly, The Doctor's true sexual orientation is likely similar to that of Jack Harkness.

No, it wasn't. And the actor being gay has zero relevance to the story.

I'm waiting for the season where they finally get it into their thick heads that nobody gives a shit about their gender/race swapped Dr Who, or his sexual preferences (because it's FUCKING BORING) and they go back to normal, have a straight white guy again, and focus on making the light hearted sci-fi show that it used to be, complete with a TARDIS, shitty looking aliens, time travel, Daleks saying "exterminate", and, you know, humour.

And? The Doctor, as a non-binary alien can't be gay. End of discussion. You literally got all your hopes and dreams of having a trans Doctor Who but it will never be enough for you, will it? Give it up. The Doctor isn't gay.

The Doctor doesn't even seem like a very sexual person

On the contrary, i feel it is more efficient to assume the Doctor has been at minimum as gay as three and a half entire pride parades ever since christophere eccleston left the show.

Ncuti Gatwa is a good Doctor. Not sure why the writers keep feeling the need to do the supernatural creatures from beyond the universe shit too, but I guess they can work this out of their system since they have those Disney dollars.

What do you mean supernatural? The Doctor shows up, scans the alien or ghost or werewolf, says science words and explains that it's not magic, just misunderstood. That's how it's always been.

Aliens aren't supernatural. Ghosts were done in a way that is more science fiction than supernatural. Werewolves were a poor attempt to incorporate supernatural and fantasy, but in the end, it's Who so just shut the fuck up and go with it.
Supernatural also includes mythological figures such as Gods in the way that Who has an affinity toward Cthulhu like entities.

Same thing, there's a myth around some alien god-looking bitch, The Doctor does science things and kills the god, or whatever. It's ALWAYS been this way.

So what's your complaint then? Just felt a need to complain about something? Can't just give the show a glowing review?
> There's a difference between the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres. That's why the two split decades ago
third time: its a fucking tv show about a guy traveling through time and space (and has been this way for 40 years) and you are complaining that it is both too supernatural and not supernatural enough
im going to type this again for a fourth time because you obviously cannot listen: TV SHOW ABOUT TRAVELING THROUGH TIME AND SPACE, 40 FUCKIN YEARS MEETING ALIENS AND GHOSTS AND SHIT AND YOU ARE UPSET BECAUSE ITS TOO "SUPERNATURAL"
jesus fucking christ are you kidding me with this shit? what the fuck is wrong with you seriously? do you have a brain injury?
