So I have mentioned that I have left the circus for a time to visit my family in my home village.
Yesterday, I was walking the familiar trails to arrive home when I saw black smoke on the distance. When I arrived, my village had been devastated and many people murdered.
Brazilian tree poachers have been and killed my family, my friends. The polícia have said they will be able to arrive in several days, no faster due to predicted bad weather and the remote location. I do not think they will discover anything. I am sheltering now in the ruins of my hut that I grew up in. This is a terrible time for Jorge. I hate Brazilians! Please to pray for my family and ancestors spirits to rejoin the great tree of life in peace, I worry they will become night wight due to their death.

My friends, the police have finally arrived. They have said there is nothing that they can do, and I should leave. I didn't leave, but spent time to bury the dead people. I will leave back to the circus soon, but I will be haunted for the rest of my life.
