Topic: Watches that don't even have a number on them.
Anonymous A started this discussion 1 year ago #117,802 What are you even, you wanna wear jewelry then wear something else than a watch.
Anonymous B joined in and replied with this 1 year ago , 9 minutes later[^] [v] #1,295,841 The design is sleeker.
You should know what time it is from the position of the hands.

It's cutting corners, then saying it's pretty. What's next, a none functional watch because you can just look outside and see the position of the sun?

Is it cutting corners when all your products aren't labelled like a baby's first? do you need someone to write "handle" on that part of the spoon?

No but I would like that spoon to be functional and not barely flat because "it's more sleek"

We weren't talking about the shape of a watch.
You whined that there aren't labels on a device you should understand already.

We were talking about how I like things to be functional, you whined about me needing a label on a spoon, when we in fact were not talking about spoons. Very hypocritical.

Post: functional meaning it has labels on it, like a baby's first watch
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 1 year ago , 9 minutes later, 15 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,295,951 Notice how I said nothing about spoons.

Pro tip: Now look if the person I was replying to was mentioning spoons
Anonymous B replied with this 1 year ago , 1 hour later, 17 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,295,971 @previous (A)
Yes I made a comparison.
Why are you announcing that you said nothing about spoons? You did say something in response, but that aside, what's your point that you didn't bring it up?
boof joined in and replied with this 1 year ago , 20 minutes later, 18 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,295,977 quick I need help
I am with sophisticates, and need to know which face of the spoon to hold upwards

Is your spoon not labeled? Return it for being dysfunctional.
I once had a fork that didn't have big clear lettering for the pointy end and hurt myself!
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 1 year ago , 4 hours later, 23 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,296,038 @1,295,971 (B)
Well I had to guess why were just repeating what I said like a dumbass lol. Still don't know.
@previous (B)
But was the fork functional? Could you use it properly or was it maybe a fake spoon that didn't really work, only some kind of lame expensive junk you bought as a expensive status symbol?
Anonymous B replied with this 1 year ago , 1 minute later, 23 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,296,041 @previous (A)
There is a difference between the form of a device and whether that form has helpful labeled plastered on it.
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 1 year ago , 1 minute later, 23 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,296,045 @previous (B)
So you admit the numbers are helpful. Thanks.

Yes, the numbers are very helpful if you're on your first watch and still can't remember what the placement of the hands means.
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 1 year ago , 3 minutes later, 23 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,296,047 @previous (B)
Or in low readability for one thing. It's also nice to know the second. I just like things to be functional.
Anonymous B replied with this 1 year ago , 4 minutes later, 23 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,296,049 @previous (A)
Nothing in your schedule matters down to the second. No serious professional buys a watch with a second hand.
If you can't see where they are placed, numbers aren't going to help you. What good is a 9 next to the minute hand if you can't see the minute hand to begin with?
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 1 year ago , 3 minutes later, 23 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,296,051 @previous (B)
So you are saying digital is just more practical? Thanks. In case you don't know, digital watches have numbers on them, not just varying amounts of little bar.

Try walking into a gentleman's club with a digital timepiece.

I'm sorry I don't hang out in lame ass clubs like that.

You've hung yourself with your own words.

Ok, enjoy wasting time being a "gentleman" in some club with lots of dudes being the same
with a none functional watch Anonymous B replied with this 1 year ago , 39 minutes later, 1 day after the original post[^] [v] #1,296,061 @previous (A)
The watch functions fine because I know how to tell time.
Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 1 year ago , 3 minutes later, 1 day after the original post[^] [v] #1,296,063 @previous (B)
Yeah they just didn't bother to add numbers, knowing you'd buy it anyway to look cool in your little boy club. You know why phones display the numbers when telling you the time? Because it's more functional.
boof replied with this 1 year ago , 7 hours later, 1 day after the original post[^] [v] #1,296,102 would there be at least little pip dots where the numbers would have been?
