Topic: American conservatives actually believe that only a few should have access to healthcare.

I'm beginning to suspect that everything they ever said about Muslims was a lie, because even Muslim countries are aware of the importance to care for all citizens not just the ultra rich. Their religion practically debates them to be charitable. They actually do as it suggests unlike Christians, who America is made up of, who have already surrendered God to the Almighty Dollar $ign.

The entire USA government is a joke, no matter what side you're on. I was a republican, and refuse to go to the democrat side, and doubt I'll become an independent.
So basically right now, I'm a nobody. Fuck the government.

American conservatives believe you should pay your own bills. Overtaxing the working class isn't the solution to lack of healthcare and financial strain.

In backwards feudal countries, if you are taxed for "healthcare" that is insufficient and cannot afford to pay a second time, yes you could suffer serious health neglect and even die!

First, please answer my question. Im a country without universal healthcare, if a poor person cannot afford healthcare, then what should they do?

Don't pay the bill, or find a charity, or just be thankful they aren't even poorer from taxes that would have gone to corrupt government officials.

The current system is completely indefensible and conservatives are disgusting for defending it. Health "insurance" companies function more as gangs than as insurance companies - you either pay the gang fee or be faced with ruinous expenses if anything ever happens to you. Even single payer would be better than this.

What gets me even more is that POOR Republicans, even those living in a trailer in the Appalachians who have no hope of accessing healthcare, will STILL defend the current system. They vote against their own interests and their own lives!

The only reason we don't have a wealth tax in this country is because of Republicans, a conservative Supreme Court, and "Democrats" like Manchin. This is not a "both sides" thing and there absolutely is hope for a better future, we just have to play the long game.

And as long as that's true, taxing the working class to pay for the bottomless expenses of the lumpenproles is a bad idea. You will disempower the only class that can change things, without fixing the problems that caused bad health in the underclasses.

Right, the long game. We should have a "million-dollar-idea" tax. Every time you even think of a way to make money, you have to pay the taxes on any potential income you may realize in the future.

Speaking of... I've just had a brilliant idea! Loan trillions of dollars to the American public at 0% so they can pay their new "idea tax" bills. Then I'll repackage the debt and sell it! The US national deficit will be lower than ever!

Well, I disagree that single payer would require raising taxes on the "working class", unless you're using an incredibly broad definition of the term. There's a ton of room to increase income and capital gain taxes on the high end, and doing so is not politically infeasible. Also, single payer would not cost as much as you think. The current arrangement in US healthcare forces health insurance companies to compete amongst each other to get doctors and hospitals to be in their network. This creates a race to the bottom which allows doctors and hospitals to charge extortionate prices. But if there's only a single payer, they will be forced to accept a reasonable deal or they will go out of business.
Right now, the average annual healthcare costs per American is well over $10000. With single payer it would be like $2500.
