Hamas didn't help them in any way. Hamas launched an attack that ended a ceasefire, and started a conflict that has hurt Palestine much more than Israel.

That's really odd, why would Egypt not let them out? They share a language and religion, but Egypt blocks the border.

I really hope hamas just decides to walk into the ocean and never return. They started this war and now look how shitty everything is for their supposed "subjects" and yet they would do it again if they ever got the chance. I also don't buy the concern of the neighboring Muslim countries, Iran for example would burn every Palestine child alive if it meant killing Israel.
But in a civilized world, you don't argue for the sake of killing children and I fear that mostly, this is argued on both sides. It's war and the enemy is extremely dangerous, it must die even if a couple of thousand children die.
