Topic: Insecurity about dating a chubby girl

Anonymous A started this discussion 1 year ago #117,446

Now she’s not obese or even fat. Her body is slightly chubby, but I can easily fit my arms around her when I give her hugs. She’s got a little meat on the bones, but I am clinically obese according to BMI standards.

However, her neck and face are chubby. Her neck is the most egregious part of it and I notice it more in pictures than I actually do when we’re together in real life.

I’m worried about what my friends and family are going to think when I introduce her to them. I don’t want them to think that I’m only with her because I can’t get someone better. But I really truly love spending time with her. We’re firing on all cylinders, especially in the bedroom.

Any advice?

Just sit her down and gently let her know that she is hideous and needs to go on a diet asap, because you feel insecure about being with her.

Do you think that will work?

You know what a fat girl and a moped have in common?

They're both fun to ride but you don't want your friends to see you on either one.

I think if you are gentle enough, it will work. She will appreciate you letting her know how she is reflecting badly on you.
