Topic: I just gave a homeless man a $30 gift card to Costco.

Little known fact is that you do not need a membership to shop at Costco if you have a gift card. These gift cards can be purchased outside of the warehouse. They can also be used for their snack bar. Their snack bar not only has a variety of different foods like the famous hot dog combo and their slice of pizza, but they also have iced lattes, smoothies, cookies, the famous chicken bakes, etc. All for a price that is lower than $10, which is what a whole pizza would cost there.
You also just gave them access to personal care and hygienic products as well. Buying in bulk shall allow them to always ensure they have a spare bottle of shampoo or whatever in case they ran out.
There is always the risk they'd just buy booze, but that isn't my fault as once the money on the gift card has been exchanged, the transaction has been made. It's their money now. They are free to do with it as they please and if that means wasting it on booze then that's on them. Plus the fact that they are alcoholics is a sign that we failed as a society and we pissed on the face of Jesus Christ himself.
I will not disrespect my lord and savior that way.

A kind thing to do. But I'm not so sure that Jesus would disapprove of consuming alcohol in excess. He turned water into wine at a wedding that had just polished off all their booze.

Dave sadly passed away early last week. You can find his obituary online by googling "fake catholic priest from Russia". Thanks.
