Minichan is the most useful because it has multiple points of view... If I look between the views of people Fake anon, Svet, Bert, Kook, and so on, I must just get a glimpse at the truth...

is it possible for a news station to not be owned/run by someone active for specific political party influences? I would prefer that.

lol no, not to the point of joining, working, and promoting it

I want better from a fucking general news station meant for the wide general public

Very many people have joined a political party, and even more people support and even promote the policies of the party they support.

That the owner supports a political party isn't the condemnation you think it is. It's perfectly normal to do so.

It is extremely problematic when the balance of power is with the one who has the money, power, and reach to deliver news. We have seen this all over the world with fewer and fewer independent news media giving way to a small number of politically affiliated companies.

It costs a lot of money to operate a TV station, therefore the TV station news is owned by the people who have money. I don't think that it is problematic for somebody to have political opinions, no matter the size of their bank balance. Especially in the modern age of citizenship media, where broadsheets and broadcasts have less monopoly on the news.

given the shit show we've got going on the past few decades, I disagree

Anonymous G replied with this 2 weeks ago, 53 minutes later, 2 days after the original post[^] [v] #1,292,662

@previous (boof)

The shit show is due to fake news easily spread on social media, not broadcast TV.

well it is a more recent phenomenon than the introduction of television -- more so the proliferation of cable (then satellite) entertainment stations making viewers think that they are getting a lot of news, when really the number of different stories is not much, and the programming day has glorified talk radio shitheads talking loard knows what

as for social media, I just don't use it but from I have heard, bad actors and public relations firms game that shit and make people retarded
