I feel sorry fro her boyfriend. Imagine knowing that your love is going to just die, and knowing the date and time, and having to go along with it! That's so sad.

Because she owns her body and should get to decide to choose to die. No one can experience her exact situation through her eyes and decide that her living is better for her and society than dying

More “her body her choice” feminazi bullshit. lol. If you had reading comprehension skills you would know that I never said she didn’t have a right to do it. Rights have nothing to do with the fact that her decision is completely selfish and doesn’t consider the consequences for the people that love her. She must be a complete sociopath.

Yes, it’s selfish for her to remove herself from everyone else’s lives just because she is “suffering”. Furthermore, as soon as that doctor said she was hopeless she should have gone to another doctor, and that first doctor should immediately lose their license, be banned from practicing, and be tried and sentenced for whatever the equivalent of second-degree murder is in the Netherlands. Thanks.

If she’s seen more than one doctor, and every one of them told her she’s hopeless, then there is a fundamental, structural issue with the Dutch mental health infrastructure.
Either way, yes, the pain of many is more valid thqn the pain of one. Thanks for pointing that out.

I knew a guy who married his fiance after she was diagnosed with a terminal illness. He stayed by her side and looked after her until the very end.
